The XPS 17’s gaming performance surprised us pleasantly. However, the GeForce GT 445M only feels comfortable in resolutions beyond 1600×900 to an extent. It’s only enough for medium setting in a few games. The XPS 17’s biggest drawback is, doubtlessly, its high emission rates. VGP-BPS13B/Q Starting with the noise development, which – to say it carefully – isn’t perfect. The situation is a bit different for the components. The Core i7-840QM and GeForce GT 445M aren’t exactly cool with 50°C each already in idle mode. During our stress test of full load test (Furmark & Prime), the processor and graphics card settled to a high, but not yet alarming 81°C. On the other hand, we think it isn’t a good idea to place both speakers on the wrist-rest. When an opening is covered by a hand, the sound is considerably misrepresented. Regardless of that, notebooks with a similar sound quality are hard to find. Only few devices, like the Toshiba Qosmio X500, the Alienware M17x, the Asus G73 or the Asus N73 can keep up to an extent. Heat
Despite its small size, the dm1z is one of the coolest notebooks we’ve yet tested. Keyboard and Touchpad

Design
Similar in design to the Pavilion dm3t, the Pavilion dm1z is easily one of the most attractive 11-inch systems on the market. Performance
Verizon says its 4G LTE network is 10 times faster VGP-BPS2C than 3G, but what does that feel like? The Samsung RF510 ($729 on Amazon) answers the call for VGP-BPS9 versatility by combining a Core i5 processor with discrete Nvidia graphics, stylish looks, and a responsive keyboard. Design

The touchpad clocked in at a chilly 89 degrees, as did the VGP-BPS2B middle bottom area. Those numbers are excellent, because we consider anything below 95 degrees comfortable and anything below 90 degrees imperceptible. By comparison, the bottom of the Dell XPS 15 reached a warm 102 VGP-BPS2C degrees.

Go big or go home. That’s the mantra of the HP Envy 17 3D. This large but stylish VGP-BPS13A/Q desktop replacement features an Intel Core i7 processor, powerful ATI graphics, a 3D-capable, full HD display, and a Blu-ray player. Starting VGP-BPS13/B at $1,599 ($1,649 as configured), the 3D version of the notebook costs the same as a similarly equipped non-3D version we reviewed just three months ago. Sounds like a sweet deal. But how does this machine stack up to laptops powered by Nvidia’s 3D VGP-BPS13B/B Vision technology? And is there enough 3D content to make donning those glasses worth the trouble? Our in-depth review VGP-BPS13B/Q reveals all.

Though sized like a family PC, the Samsung RF510 has VGP-BPS13/Q a sleek, black aesthetic that looks equally at home in the living room and the conference room. This 15.6-inch laptop ($1,094 as configured) pairs a full HD display with booming Bang & Olufsen speakers. asus akku What about performance? Design
The ASUS N53JF is one of the few notebooks that utilizes a very limited palette (did you know there were this many shades toshiba akku of gray?) yet manages to look stylish. Keyboard and Touchpad
The N53JF features a new "wave" keyboard with large keys, along with a numberpad on the right. The latter’s small size is fine for crunching hp laptop akku numbers but might turn off gamers. While typing, the key feel was bouncy but slightly mushy, and we noticed sony laptop akku some flex.

The 3.25 x 2.1-inch touchpad is a nice size (it could be bigger, given how much space asus laptop akku there is on the deck), and has just the right amount of matte texture on the surface for smooth navigation. We compared N53JF with the Dell XPS 15, which delivered the best notebook audio quality of all the notebooks we tested toshiba laptop akku this year. When playing tracks with driving bass, such as "Pick U Up" by Adam Lambert or "Beautiful Dangerous" by Slash and Fergie, the XPS dell laptop akku 15 was the clear winner. Overall, the XPS 15 has the best sound system, but the N53JF is a close second.

Ports and Webcam
Never one to skimp on ports, ASUS packs in a few designed with the media maven in mind. The HDMI 1.4 port is ready apple notebook akku for the next generation of HD connectivity. And the USB 3.0 port next to it ensures you’ll be able to take advantage of super speedy external ibm notebook akku drives and other enhanced peripherals down the line. While the Envy 17 we reviewed in September stayed relatively cool, we noticed much warmer temperatures on the Envy 17 3D. This isn’t the first device we’ve seen a gyroscope in (Apple introduced one in the iPhone 4), vgp-bps21a but this is certainly taking advantage of it in a new way. Keyboard VGP-BPS13 and Touchpad
The SF510 features an island-style keyboard that’s spacious and flex-free. Although Lenovo/IBM Thinkpad T410 Battery the key feel wasn’t the best we’ve experienced, we were able to get to our normal typing speed right away. The generous 3.8 x 2.4-inch clickpad on the SF510 VGP-BPS9 took some getting used to. It’s not as finicky or difficult to use as HP’s clickpads from last year, but it’s not as effortless to use as those found on Apple’s MacBooks. But is its touchscreen enough to make up for its lack of wireless VGP-BPS13B/B connectivity?

Streaming media is in this notebook’s DNA, as the SF510 includes a couple of easy ways to play or send content to other VGP-BPS13B/Q devices. The DNLA-backed Easy Content Share utility makes it simple to set up file sharing and media streaming between devices–including VGP-BPS13A/S Galaxy S phones. Intel’s Wireless Display is also built in, which allows users to stream content from the notebook to an HDTV. Design
Sony completely redesigned the Pocket Edition to match the look of the Touch and Daily Edition. Gone is the D-pad, VGP-BPS21A/B as well as the buttons along the right side of the 5-inch display. Now there are just five slim buttons beneath the display–Page back, Page forward, Home,VGP-BPS21/S Zoom, and Options–and the Pocket now has a touchscreen just like its larger siblings.

Though light, the Pocket feels solid due to its silver metal case,VGP-BPS21 while chrome-colored buttons on the front add a touch of elegance. The included stylus fits snugly in a port along the right edge. Sony wisely replaced the miniUSB jack on the bottom with a (more standard) microUSB jack. There’s also no longer VGP-BPS21A a separate power port for the A/C adapter; the Pocket comes with an adapter for the USB cord.

Ivory and brown? Yes, and it works. The $629 Samsung SF510–a Best Buy exclusive–is a VGP-BPS21B budget-friendly laptop with plenty of flair. Armed with an Intel Core i3 CPU, this 15-inch notebook is an excellent choice for consumers looking for good battery something powerful enough for everyday computing in a curvy design that is anything but ho-hum.

Design
Not many ivory notebooks come through our labs, but the SF510 wears the color well. Although hp notebook akku the lid is glossy, it looks pretty elegant and it doesn’t pick up fingerprints.
